Autumn Boots

Beauty

Obsessed doesn’t even cover how much I love these boots! So a little back story, this is my second pair. I bought these initially at the beginning of the year for work (yes, I had the best looking boots in the whole school) but I wore them so much, I wore them out. Now fast forward to October and I invested in my second pair, this time I decided to only save them for special occasions. That means so far they’ve only been worn twice, which is a shame because I want to show them off.

These boots are the cheapest of the the specific style I’ve found in all the shops and websites, these were less than £30 from Amazon.

As for the quality of the boots I think they are pretty decent, a lot better than Primark standards and they are much comfier than Primark footwear.

I think these boots just make the perfect autumnal accessory to dress up a casual outfit and add some wow to your look. I will be living in these boots when I go to Geneva at the end of the month so there will ofcourse be lots of photos of them out and about.

You can check them out Here

Let me know what you think to these boots.

Christmas Gift Guide for Her 🎅🏼 what I’ve bought

Beauty

Here is my second gift guide and I found this one much easier to do as I  had more people to buy for and it was much like shopping for myself. I had to wait until my best friend had opened her presents before I could upload this so these are pretty quick and easy to get hold of presents.

For my best friend I picked up this palette from Sleek as I loved how festive it looked and I loved that it had a combination of eye and cheek colours. I also picked her up the Rimmel Kate Moss Contour palette as I think it looks really cute and would be handy to take on holiday. Then keeping with the make up theme, I picked up these gorgeous brushes from Amazon!

For my other friend I went more down the cosy routine, I bought her this lovely textures blanket from Primark along with some fluffy socks which I know she’ll love.

I then decided to buy a candle for everyone as everyone loves a candle and especially as Christmas.

I then picked up some shower gel and bubble bath for my mum and nan.

And ofcourse chocolate and sweets to go in everyone’s bag, plus how cute is the chocolate make up kit from the Co-Op!

I chose some nail polish and a lip stick for my mum, and I accidentally bought two of the lipstick so my nan is having that one.

I love toiletries so I picked these up for everyone, plus they make great stocking fillers.

I bought my mum a necklace and earring duo along with a watch from Amazon for a really cheap price! They both look so lovely in person and I know she will love them. I then picked my friend up a pair of rose gold studs from Primark which are perfect for over Christmas.

I bought this travel wallet for my mum as when we go on holiday she carries a plastic wallet which looks awful. So I thought with this she can put in everything she needs and it can be cute. And then for my nan I bought a cute pink travel card holder which she keeps her bank cards in I think.

And it’s not Christmas without Lush, so I have three of these for my best friend and one of the butterbears for my nan.

These are perfect little stocking fillers or little extras to add to presents to have a pamper of the holiday season.

My mum and I booked to go to Berlin for my birthday and she always struggles with toiletries and fitting everything she wants in. So I decided to buy her some bits to take with her and a little travel bottle set from Primark which I think I need aswell!

And finally for my best friend I picked up a Starbucks voucher for her and also one for myself so we could go together.

And last for my mum I have paid to have Morning Coffee at a Luton Hoo which is a posh big house just before Christmas. And lastly I got us tickets to Mamma Mia in London the day before NYE.

So there you go, pretty much everything I have bought. I will probally end up buying a few more bits when I think of them!

Christmas Gift Guide For Him 🎅🏼 What I’ve bought

Beauty

I had never planned on writing a gift guide post as I didn’t really know what to buy. But am I am sat with a huge box of presents for people in my room I thought why not. Here are some really affordable ideas.

This is one of those scratch maps, I bought it from Amazon and thought my Grandad would love it! I even want one myself. I believe it was about £10, and they do a larger one for £15. I think this is such a really unique gift idea that anyone will love.

Next I bought my friend a cigarette holder as he smokes and I thought this would look nice on a night out rather the box they come in. This was super cheap also from Amazon as most of my shopping is because I have a problem.

I then purchased a leather wallet for my Grandad as I saw his one was kooky a bit tatty. This one has loads of compartments for all his cards so it’s perfect for him. Once again this was from Amazon and was less than £5, but the quality is amazing!

I then also bought a Calvin Klein spray for my friend from Amazon and this was £15 which I think is a decent price for 50ml. Of course any aftershave spray will be lovely.

I picked up a bubble bath for my Grandad by accident, it was meant to be for my Nan but I didn’t really it said men on it. But this was about 85p from Superdrug as they had an offer on.

My friend absolutely loves Breaking Bad so I found these socks on Amazon and had to buy them for him.

And ofcourse chocolate treats are the perfect little gift aswell.

And finally for my Grandad I picked up these magazines back in August when I was at a steam rail Way station. He loves trains and I thought that these would be perfect as they date back to the 60’s so he would love reading them.

And that is all I have for now, I still need a few more ideas so if you have any leave them in the comments. Also I do have a brother but I’m pretty stuck on what to get him at the moment, so any ideas would be appreciated!

Kylie Jenner Liquid Lipstick Dupes

Beauty

A huge craze is the Kylie Jenner lipkits this year but not everyone wants to spend a huge amount on a product so I have found some dupes! These dupes are by the brand Dragon and sold on Amazon for only £1.69 each.

See them for yourself here!
They have quite a range of colours which look very similar to the Kylie colours. I have Candy K by Kylie and will be testing out how similar they are in another blog post coming soon.

My first impression is a good one, the worse part is that they took nearly 6 weeks to arrive but for the price you can’t complain. I bought colours which I don’t own and that are very unusual.

Here are swatches from all the colours I bought, as you can see they are pretty opaque and they seem to glide on really nicely. They have great staying power as I swatches these on my hands yesterday and they are still on their the next day!

Here is the shade which I will comparing to Candy K! From the packaging you can see it is pretty much identical, but you can tell that it not as good quality as a higher end product.

Stay tuned for when I compare these to Kylie Cosmetics!

Real Techniques Brush Dupes // New Make Up Monday

Beauty

Your probably thinking wow, you spent a lot on brushes! But… These wet less than £10 for the lot, I fact I think they were about £7 including postage!

These little gems are pretty much an exact dupe for the Real Techniques Bold Metal Collection Brushes (even though I have never seen them in person). This is actually my second lot of these brushes and would not even go back to any other kind because I love them!

Ofcourse the main reason for buying these is because of what they look like, pretty silver brushes! Who doesn’t want that! And they also work really well too, I have a few Real Techniques brushes and I don’t even notice a difference between the dupes and the real ones.

I could apply all my make up using just these brushes. I use the large on to set my make up, the smaller rounder one to apply bronzer, the more square one to contour and the angled one for highlight. I then use the other two extra small fluffy brushes for my eye shadow and the tiny brush for my eye brows.

These brushes are such a bargain and well worth the money! I will definelty be buying another lot of these brushes in the future!

Pay Day Shopping Haul

Beauty

Everyday payday I like to a bit of online shopping, OK, a lot of online shopping. I just find shopping online so much easier than walking around a shop and it gives you the time you need to decided weather or not you really need the item. I only went on 2 sites, Amazon and Boots and I am actually proud of my myself as I didn’t buy that much!

Rapid Lash I purchased this from Amazon for about £18 which is on the pricey side, but I am hoping it is going to be worth it! I had short lashes and i want long lashes so in theory this should work! I will be doing a blog post after I have used it for a month to see the results.

Rose Hip Oil I decided to buy this as Shaaanxo uses it for her skin care routine and as it was only £10 from Amazon I thought why not. Oils are supposed to be really good for your skin and help it in so many ways. Once again I will do a blog post on this and my impressions of it.

No 7 Shimmer Body Oil I have had my eye on one of these body oils for a while now and really wanted to try out the Body Shop one but that is a little bit more expensive. This is a 100ml bottle and was £12 so I am hoping it was worth it. I am mainly waiting to use this when I am on holiday at night on top of my tan. Once again I will do a blog post on this, most probably not till August though.

Seventeen Instant Glow I have been really into cream bronzers and I found this one for £5 from Boots. I have yet to use it, but so far it looks really nice. One day I will buy the Chanel one, but until then I will make do with drugstore ones!

Scholl Velvet Smooth As summer is approaching and I want to wear flip flops and sandals more I thought I would invest in them. I picked this up from Amazon for about £20, which so far I am so happy with it! I have only used it for a few days now and it has made such a difference! Can’t wait to see what my feet will be like in a months time!

Mini Haul // Wax Box

Haul

The first item in this haul is Wax Box, this is a monthly subscription box full of waxes and the odd candle. It’s about £10 plus p+p which is really good value for the amount of products you get. The theme of this one is spring and everything smells amazing!

Yes, they are more waxes! I bought these off Amazon fro about £2 each and I will be gifting these to my mum as part of her Easter present. I also bought Loreal Volume Lashes mascara off amazon as well for £5. I really want to try out new mascaras so I have more options and as I love Loreal ones I thought this would be perfect.

And lastly I bought these cute make up brushes of Amazon for £6 for the set. I bought them because they look like the Real Techniques brushes but are a fraction of the price. But mainly I bought them because they are so pretty! I can’t wait to use them!

2016 Make Up Storage

Beauty

I always like to move stuff around in my room and I love moving my make up around. The only thing is for the first few weeks you always go in the wrong drawer when trying to find something. My make up collection has grown a little bit since I last did a make up storage post but it’s still quite small. I have all my face and eye make up stored in a tall chest of drawers and then my lips products on a small chest of drawers next to it.

Prep My first drawer contains all my moisturisers and toners that I apply before I apply make up. I have a lot of products on the go but I am trying to use them up. At the back of the drawer I have a few sample sized products and random moisturisers. And I also have spare moisturisers which I buy when they are on offer. I really like using the Vitamin E toner water from Superdrug at the minute.

Coverage The second drawer is primer, foundation, concelor and powder. There are also some false eyelashes and lip balms at the back as I ran out of room to put them anywhere else.

Highlight, Bronze, Contour This drawer has all my powder blushes, bronzers and highlight in the left side. In the middle are my moe high end products and palettes. And the drawer on the right has all cream products and a sample size of Toof Face.

Eyes This is drawer one of two for my eyes and contains mascaras in the left side and eye liners and eyelash curlers in the middle. The left side contains all my eye brow products.

Eyeshadow The final drawer contains my eye shadow palettes and individuals. I much prefer having a palettes rather than the individual eyeshadows so that’s why I have a few. The left side has all my eye shadow brushes and primers.

Lipstick

Here is an over view of my lip products and the storage.

In their own little section I have my Mac lipsticks which I love. I then have my face brushes behind them (which really need a clean). I need to buy a bigger brush container because not all of them fit in. I have a lipstick holder to hold my favourite and most used products so they are easy to find.  My mum got me this little jar from Next for only a pound so I decided it would make a great home for my lip liners. The only problem now is that I want to fill it up!
I then have two acrylic drawers from Amazon for about £11 each which I store the rest of my lipstick and lipgloss in.
