My evening skincare routine is (sadly) one of my favourite times of the day, I look forward to being able to take my make up off and give my skin some goodness. I do tend to switch up my products as and when I feel like; but these are the ones I have recently been using and loving.
To take my make up off I use the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleaners, this is pretty much identical to the Liz Earl one but a fraction of the price. This does a great job at removing all my make up before I go in with an actual cleanser. I have been using the Good Molecules Jelly Cleanser* for a while now and really like it as it’s really gentle on my skin yet cleans it at the same time.
A little trick I learnt from a Dermalogica masterclass was to mix in a little bit of the Microfoliant into your face wash to exfoliate your skin at the same time. This is a great idea if your want to save on time, then you can use both of your products side by side.
Once I’m finished drenching myself in water, I tone my face using the Pixi Glow Tonic* which I have used for years now and I am obsessed with it. Following that I have started to use a facial steamer for 10 minutes each night. The one I have was less than £10 from eBay and seems to be doing a pretty good job! Once my skin is steams I wiped my face over with some blackhead cleanser on a cotton pad, focusing on my nose area.
I then use Skin Doctors Hair No More* on the top of my lip and massage that in until it’s dry.
For my eyes I have been using Skin Doctors Eye Tuck* and find this is really great for keeping my eye area looking plump. Whilst I’m waiting for that to soak in I use the newly released Dermalogica Neck Fit Contour Serum* on my neck and massage that in.
I tend to mix up my serums dependant on what my skin needs, I mainly pick either a spot treatment serum or an exfoliating one to renew my cells. Tonight I am using The Ordinary Lactic acid as I felt my skin needed a bit of a pick me up and this is great for a really nice refreshed look the next day.
Another staple which I have been obsessed with since I was sent it is the Skin Resurfacing Cream from Skin Doctors*.
As for my moisturiser I love an overnight mask, Glossier Moon Mask is one of my favourites, it leaves you skin feeling so plump and hydrated.
Lastly (when I’m not feeling lazy) I love using my gua sha and an oil to massage my face, this is such a relaxing process and you can find loads of good videos on YouTube to show you how to do it.
And that’s my very long winded night routine 💗
