Towards the end of 2020 I decided that I really want to splash a bit of cash on some new high end up make up, and get some of the latest launches which were very much raved about.
The biggest addition to my make up bag was definitely the Chanel Les Beige bronzer, that was such a huge investment piece which I’m so glad I decided to get. My previous blog post goes into more detail about the bronzer.
Around the same time I got my hands on the Chanel I decided I needed a nice blush to go along with it, after much deliberation I decided on Charlotte Tilbury Pillow talk. I have to say, I really did choose this shade as it’s the most talked about, so I knew if thousands of people loved it the chances I would love it too were very high. I absolutely love the shade, it’s the perfect deep pink blush which still looks so subtle and natural on the skin. The fact it has a little bit of a shimmer to it as-well creates a really nice glow to your cheeks without even adding highlighter.
Refy is one of the newest brands on the market and there was so much hype around one particular product, Brow Sculpt. I missed the initial launch so I had to wait for the restock but finally got my own one! There is a blog post going up on Monday about this brow gel as I think it blows everything out of the water with what it does!
A pretty infamous mascara I decided to try out recently is the Maybelline Sky High mascara which is a definitely a favourite of mine. It builds up your lashes and adds plenty of volume and length without going clumpy and there is no need to spend ages doing it either!
The newest highlighter in my collected is from Fenty Beauty, I decided to try out the shade PURRRL which is a gorgeous champagne shade. What I love about this one is that it looks like such a natural glow once applied as there are no sparkles, it just looks like your glowing from within. It really reminds of Glossier Haloscope which is one of my favourite highlighters.
Lastly I have a setting powder which I have been trying out from Beauty Pie, I normally use a loose powder but decided to try out a pressed powder to give a bit of a lighter coverage. This one is really nice as it’s not mattifying, it sets your products but still gives a glow to your base.
Let me know what I should add to my make up bag next 💗
