Today I am going to be sharing my everyday make up routine for work, I have recently started doing a really simple glowy bronzed look to keep it fresh for spring.
To begin with I prime my face, the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Minimiser Primer has a beautiful consistency and applies really nicely. It smoothed out the skin and hides pores creating a great base for your foundation.
On an everyday basis I like to use a matte long lasting foundation so I tend to switch it up daily between Loreal Infallible and Rimmel Stay Matte. Rimmel Stay Matte has a lovely texture and feels much like a mousse, it really reminds me of Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse. It blends really easy and I like to apply this using a brush.
Under my eyes I conceal using Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the lightest shade. I also apply this to my eyelids to hide an veins and uneven skin tone. Once I have blended that in with my sponge I like to swipe the Becca Cosmetics Liquid Highlighter in Moonstone on my cheekbones and inbetween my brows to highlight and add some glowiness. I really love how the highlighter still shines through once it is set in place, it really makes my skin feel fresh and glowy.
To set my under eye concealer I like to bake it using W7 Banana Dreams powder, this is a yellow powder which brightens the under eye area making me look more awake. I like to apply this in a dabbing motion using my sponge so I can get a medium layer on so it can set.
While I am baking I actually move onto my brows which I try and keep natural but noticeable. I have been trying to use up the remainder of my really old Benefit Browzings which I have had for 4 years now. I like to fill in any gaps and make them a little more defined before setting them with the Model Co Brow Gel.
Once my brows have dried and my baking has set I dust of the yellow powder and then I apply my setting powder to the rest of my face. I have also been using the Collection Lasting Perfection Powder a lot recently as it is on the shade ivory so I won’t be needing it in the summer. I find this works just as good as my trusty Rimmel Stay Matte.
For my cheeks I like to keep this looking semi natural and try not to use anything to shimmery. For bronzer I have been totally loving the Soap and Glory Solar Power bronzer, this is a duo toned bronzer which a dark and light shade. I like to mix them together by swirling my brush around and then buffing it onto my cheeks and forehead to create a natural bronzed look.
For blushed I like to keep it simple and Matte and so I always opt for my Kiko blush in the shade 109.
And then for highlight I used the really pretty Glow All Out by Soap and Glory. This has a really subtle pinky glow with no shimmer so it’s great for a natural look.
