September Favourites // Friday’s Faves

This month I found it so hard to pick out what I had been loving, it seems when it comes to picking out favourites I go blank and can’t remember what I’ve been loving. However I have managed to fish out a few things which I have been using a lot…

I have recently started washing my face in the morning, and even now I can’t manage it every day. I just hate being woken up and washing my face seems like hell, but when I do get round to it I have been using the Olay Firm & Lift day lotion which is great for my skin. I like the fact it is light weight, has spf and helps your skin repair. Plus this one always goes on offer at Boots so you can get it for £2.50.

The next skincare item is the L’Oréal Pure Clay face mask, I picked up this one because I love face masks but don’t always want a harsh one which is going to bring out my spots. What I love about this face mask is how exfoliating it is when you wash it off!

This month I have been trying to use up a lot of perfumes which I have been reluctant to use up. And one that is so close to going is Moschino Pink Bouquet which I love the scent off and will really miss this, but I have so many others I doubt I will even notice.

For lips this month I have been using Candy K from Kylie Cosmetics. I end up picking this one because it’s that awkward time of year, not the summer any more so can’t wear a bright lip and not quite ready for a really dark lip. So I think this helps ease the transition into the dark lip. Plus it is super long wearing!

For my brows I have been absolutely loving the MUA LUXE Power Brow which is brow pomade. It comes with its own little brush which works just as good as a normal brush. It applies so easily and looks great on!

Next I have another item which I am trying to use up, Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I have had this a while now and thought it was about time I used it up, and I have been so impressed with it! I think I will end up buying another bottle of it as well!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealor is the concealor that got me into concealing, I love it! It’s so brightening and creamy and looks great on my under eye area.

Next is a product which I bought for the summer but never wore until September, the Rommel Bronze Mousse. This is a bronzer in the form of a mouse. I started applying this with my fingers to dab it on where I want it and hen I blend in with a sponge. I am actually so impressed with it, this will definely become part of my makeup routine.

And lastly is a contour kit from Collection, this was only about £3 but works just as good as the Anastasia Beverly Hills one. I tend to only use the contour side, but he highlight side is really subtle and natural. This is definetly worth trying out!
