This was my make up for a wedding reception I went to with my friends from work. We had a wonderful night and enjoyed taking loads of photos!
To prime my eyes I used Mac Paintery Pain Pot which was such a good investment last year as it feels like it is going to last forever! I then used Matt Singh as a base colour on my lids from Meet Matte(e) Nude by The Balm. I recently have been loving this palette as I becoming more competent doing my eye shadow and experimenting with other shades.
For the rest of my eye shadow I used the Carly Bybel Palette by BH Cosmetics which I bought earlier this year. I have marked a cross in the three shadows I used on the outer corner to gradually build up darkness and depth. I used the bottom one first and then worked my way up. I then used the second shadow from the top of the middle row on my lid to add some shimmer.
For my face I started of using the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer for blurring. I absolutly love this as it makes my skin look flawless! I then have also been loving the Loreal Nude Magique as it gives such a natural look as its really light weight. I apply this using my damp Real Techinque sponge which I can’t live without! I then use the Loreal Lumi Touch concelor under my eyes as this gives some extra coverage and brightens my under eye area. Once again I applied this using my sponge.
The next step I have only been doing for 2 weeks now but I am loving it! I have been Natural Collection translucent powder to set under eyes. I have been using a baking technique and applying layers of the powder using my sponge and letting it set. So far it works so much better than using just a normal powder. After a few minute I then brush of the excess powder and set the rest of my face using Rimmel Stay Matte.
Recently I havnt been into contour as I just like to use some bronzer to add a bit of colour. My favorite shade has been this duo from ELF in Fiji. I apply this to my cheeks and forehead to add a little definition but mainly some colour.
I then like to apply some Nars Laguna Bronzer on top as this is a little warmer and has a hint of shimmer in it.
