I was a little bit naughty and spent about £50 in Superdrug before I went on holiday, so when I arrived back I had a lovely little box waiting for me which was nice. I picked up a few bits I have been wanting to try for a while, and a few favourites.
This is another gorgeous eye shadow palette from Make Up Revolution which was only £4! As you can see the colours are so pigmented and the shimmery ones are amazing. It really reminds me of Urban Decay Naked 3 as it has quite rosy pink colours. I can’t wait to use this and test out the colours all together.
Next I got 2 shimmer bricks from Collection called the Gorgeous Glow. The pinky one is a blush block and is a pink shimmer but is also very natural for a nice glow. The golden one is the bronzing block which is golden and a lot darker. I will be using these as highlighters because they are so shimmery and pigmented but then can be blended out easily so you won’t end up with a lot of over powering colour.
Last time I went shopping I wanted this Bronze and Sculpy contour kit from MUA but they only had it in the dark shade. I got this one in light/medium and it’s perfect for me. The bronzer is a lovely warm brown which will look lovely in the summer to give a sun kissed look. And the highlight is a really natural peachy gold. For £5 I think it is really worth the money!
I have not had any products from Collection in about 5 years, but I am so impressed with what they have at the minute. This little contour kit is from Collection and was under £5. The contour colour is a little to warm to contour with but once again it will be a lovely shade for the summer. The highlighter is very natural, more than the others I have mentioned. After you apply it you cannot tellhhat it is there, apart from you have a lovely glow.
I bought this Vitamin E leave on mask from Superdrug last month, and I have been absolutely loving it! It is my favorite skin care product at the moment, I apply it 4 or 5 times a week at night and it leaves my skin amazing. I feel like the vitamin e has also helped my eyelashes grow aswell. These pots are only £2.99 each and last a pretty long time.
And lastly, I have been wanting to try these sponges for ages! I haven’t had a chance to use them yet as I haven’t had make up on this week. But next time I do my foundation I will use it one and will be doing a review of it!
When I was in Rome last week I made two trips to Sephora, one to pick up some face masks and the second to get a little bit of make up. I love using face masks so I got quite a few, because you can never have enough. The masks were all €3.90 which is kind of expensive but it’s a one off as I can only to get to a Sephora once in while.
I then picked up a blusher and a bronzer. For blush recently I have been loving a really pale pink colour, as I find it balances out my make up. So I got this one by Sephora in no.2 So Shy! The bronzer is in the shade Caledonia, which is the lightest shade I could find. It is a very warm sand type of colour but once again perfect for summer. I also think this would look lovely for eye shadow aswell.
