A few years ago I when I was really getting into make up I decided to go and buy a few make up and beauty books. I’ve never been a big reader but reading about make up was something I was interested in.
The first book I got was the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual which I got for Christmas one year. This is such a great book and has really good tips and ideas in it.
A recent purchase was Tanya Burrs book which I still haven’t read properly yet. This is another great book as it is more of a lifestyle book, make up, fashion, skin care and baking.
At the same time I purchased Tanya Burrs book I also picked up Fleur de Force’s book which I haven’t looked through properly either. I just think these two books are so pretty and asthetically pleasing and make a great shelf decoration as well as a read.
My best friend got me this little magazine type book which contains 100 beauty tips, most you would also ready know but some you wouldn’t of thought off.
I love Lauren Conrads books and I think they are a staple to any one interested in beauty and make up. You can learn all Lauren’s beauty tips and secrets.
The last 4 books are ones I picked up second hand and are a little older, still it’s great to read and see how far make up has come since they were published. Make up books are just a handy thing to have around, to give you that little bit of extra inspiration you need to get a unique look.
I’ve never thought about buying books about make-up! I might just need to check a few out. Thanks for the post x
